Interactive film maker stands
Back by popular demand, we are joined by film companies and cultural venues from across the south west, with displays including film costumes and props from local and international film.
Included in the line-up:
Odd Planet Studios will be previewing sets and figures from their in-production stop motion animated film, The Legend of Jan Tregeagle. This is an ambitious project to bring one of the most famous of Cornwall’s legends to animated life. The story is about the wickedest man in Cornwall and his eventual come-uppance. A small group of South West animators are meticulously creating miniature versions of Cornish landmarks and a cast of silicone puppets, some of which will be on display. Odd Planet have designed and built their own motion control camera rigs for the project, which has a release planned for 2021. With a chance to meet the film’s Producers.
Dark Light Films will be previewing The Knockout , in post – production feature film The Legend of Mordred and other Dark Light productions. With a chance to meet the films producers, Director of Photography and some of the other crew .
The Ballard of Lucy Sands will be previewing costumes, trailers and limited edition memorabilia from this large scale South West feature film . With a chance to meet the Director , crew and some of the cast of the film .
Torquay Museum will be have Props from the Feature Film Lost City of Z and Previewing their Autumn – Winter Programme of Events .
Torre Abbey with be previewing their Autumn Programme of Events and look forward to next Summers Outdoor Cinema!!

The Seal Project was set up to monitor and reduce negative impact factors affecting wild Grey seals in Torbay and raise awareness of the importance of protecting this globally rare species. Our core message is this; Give wildlife space, Do not feed wild seals, Be kind.
Through research, education and community engagement we aim to raise awareness of the need to protect our globally rare seals and increase research opportunities in Torbay. Find out more on first level and see their film in the Cinema .

The South West Premiere of Terry Pratchett’s Troll Bridge
We are proud to present the South West Film Premiere of short film Troll Bridge from Snowgum Films. Troll Bridge is a live action and hand animated hybrid, a fifteen-year filmmaking odyssey and a love letter to the author Terry Pratchett. It is lovingly crafted from the Discworld fairy tale originally published in After the King, and now available in A Blink of the Screen. Find out more at http://www.trollbridge.film
The Premiere will also include trailer previews of forthcoming film productions from across the south west and the showing of a short film about the Torbay based Seal Project .
