John has always been passionate about cinema since an early age and making films from 2007. Since 2015 John has been a full time film producer collaborating with local and national organisations to bring their stories to the screen.
He has experience in directing, editing, cinematography and scriptwriting for heritage, campaign and community-focused films. His work has been shown as part of major exhibitions, social media campaigns, press, YouTube, international music artist promotion, and on the big screen. Additionally, over the last five years John has produced content for the Agatha Christie Festival across social media, YouTube, and BBC Spotlight.
John has given lectures and filmmaking workshops across the South West. He is passionate about raising the profile of the English Riviera in the film industry both in the South West, the UK, and internationally.
