Grace inherited her love for film and photography from her father, a journalistic and dance photographer who first put a camera in her hands age four. She has since nurtured that passion into a career blending commercial and creative photo and video, with roles in advocacy, printmaking, science communication, and geology.
Her professional experience has largely focused on the creative sector, her portfolio including short documentary features, commercial event documentation, talking heads, headshots, and specialised microscopy photography. Her journey with the festival began as a dedicated supporter before evolving into more hands-on roles – conducting interviews, serving as a judge for several years, and ultimately joining the festival committee. Grace’s involvement stems from a deep appreciation for the technical craft of camera work and the power film holds to tell stories, communicate, and advocate for people. She champions what the festival has built and recognises the vast potential of the filmmaking talent residing in the English Riviera.
