One thousand birds symphony is a majestic collection of film footage captured on location in deepest darkest Devon (UK) and digital artwork accompanied by symphonic compositions and arrangements mixed with field recordings of dawn choruses and solo birdsong created during lockdown by British art-rock artist GRICE.

We touch our smartphones on average 2600 times a day. Tap, swipe and pinch are unconscious movements of communication and connectivity, transforming our sociality and material embodied experiences. The touch screen is celebrated for overcoming distance as a barrier for connection and condemned for denying physical human touch. This film explores the tactile and emotional relationship between skin and screen and through a media archaeological lens the evolving relationship, from cinema to the touch screen era.

The Medusa Box Prologue was shot in an eerie forest on the edge of Dartmoor on the Spring Equinox 2022, with a cast and crew fuelled mainly by cake and fake blood.

It uses in camera effects and the power of suggestion to allow the audience to fill in the gory gaps.   A Prequel to the now in Production Feature Film of the same name.
